Federal investment crowdfunding, otherwise known as Regulation Crowdfunding or Reg CF, is an innovative, relatively new way to finance your business while amplifying your mission and gathering supporters from your network and across the country. Reg CF also gives everyday people power to shape economies by investing in the organizations and causes they believe in.

This seven-session online workshop will provide a comprehensive, accessible overview of how to launch and run a successful campaign: from legal compliance, to designing an investment opportunity, to creative, cost-effective marketing strategies and more.

The series will be led by
Jamie L. Frank, corporate and securities lawyer and life coach.

why crowdfund?

Historically, securities regulations have made it difficult for anyone but affluent individuals and organizations to legally invest in startups and small businesses. As a result, wealthy interests have had disproportionate power to determine which enterprises flourish and which fail, which people and communities prosper and which don’t, and which values are prioritized and which are ignored.
Since 2016, Reg CF has been chipping away at this unequal system—anyone is allowed to invest in a campaign, regardless of the resources they have. What's more, Reg CF capital raises are increasing in popularity, and brand new SEC rules will make them an even more powerful tool.
